Best laid plans

The past few months have been full of research and preparations. We started with a wish list of stops we wanted to make and began to map out a route and timeline. We plan to stop in national parks to camp and will be staying with friends and hotels in the cities. We revived a tent and picked up a national parks pass and passport. The first stop, Chicago!
