Arches and Moab

From Bryce we continued north to Arches National Park. The ride was scenic and mountainous through canyons and past ancient lava flows. When we got to Arches it was raining. We took a risk during a lull in the rain to hike out to the double arches, but then got caught in a shower and were soaked. We decided to get up at sunrise and tour the rest of the park. We found a great spot to camp and were able to explore the town of Moab and grab some dinner before bed.
Getting up early was a great choice. We hiked up the overlook to view delicate arch, which is the park's most famous feature.
We had thought the arch would be more grand because in Utah it's featured everywhere, license plates, restaurants, souvenirs... It was still really cool to see and the morning hike was great.
We explored the park a bit more before heading south once again.
