Wine Country

We were glad to discover that the campground we booked in Castiloga was right in the heart of wine country. We set up camp and enjoyed a beautiful sunset over the vineyards on our way into town.
Castiloga is a cute little town with lots of spas, restaurants, and shops. We had an excellent dinner complete with selecting wine from a wine list contained in a 3 ring binder! We were due at the spa by 9:30 the next morning for mud baths so after dinner we headed back to camp.
We woke up the next morning excited about getting the famous Castiloga mud baths, but neither of us REALLY knew what to expect.
As it turns out, it's exactly what it sounds like. An oversized bathtub full of hot mud.
Although it was definitely a strange experience, my skin felt amazing after and I would definitely do it again.
After the mud baths we had some lunch and toured the Jelly Belly factory:
We spent the rest of the afternoon and evening touring vineyards and sampling the local wines.
